First off i would like to say i did a search that didnt yeild to quite specific results.

So if anyone can be less vague to my questions that would be great, and no "I think that works answers either" Becuase "thinking" doesnt really help me.

Ok, i was looking at my transmission last night and looking for my speed sensor on it when all i found all over the entire transmission was.... the two sensors shown in this picture below...

Now..... I looked over at an SR20 transmission which was laying beside me and where the speed sensor was on that i checked on the same general area becuase i know they're not the same, and i didnt find anything.

If the speed sensor is somehow gone, people say that a Z32 speed sensor would work becuase the gear box is the same, but the bellhousing is different, so is it the sensor out of the twin turbo, or the n/a? People here have also said, that the KA will work, and others stated that it is too short and will not fit all the way in, I KNOW it works for the RB20 transmission, but it will not suffice for the 25.

also, the driveshaft yoke, on the rb transmission shares the same as the 300zx z32, i need a custom driveshaft made, but i also need to know, is it the Twin turbo driveshaft, or will the n/a one work?

Also the slave cylinder wont work, does anyone have the OEM part number or know if the it shares the same slave cylinder as the Z32?

Thanks in return to any of my questions i will bump this thread untill they are all answered becuase i need to know relatively soon.

speed sensor should be right about where those blue relays are in your picture, on the same side as the neutral and reverse sensor. here's a FAST screenshot to help you out

its not compatible with any other nissan sensors, meaning its NOT the same part number. as far as other ones working with the z32, it might work but be warned the p/n isnt the same.

The speed sensor is on the right hand side of the transmission when you standing at the rear of the transmission. It should be in the area of the blue relays in the picture above. It's actually a bit bigger than you may think and the round top is about 1.5in in diameter. You really can't miss it. Take some more pics and I'll point it out to you. Here you can see it squarely in the middle of the photo facing towards you.

Cool, ill take another couple of pics of it tonight, also, you wouldnt happen to know whether its the TWIN TURBO or n/a driveshaft yoke that works on this transmission to make a custom driveshaft!?

either will work, but know that if you take the yoke from a Z they are non servicable shafts and require drilling and its a PITA, I also wasnt able to use this yoke with the size aluminum shaft i had made, so i went with spicer yokes(front and rear) theyre not overly expensive and you will NEVER have a problem with them.

i have the front yoke i took to the driveshaft shop here in okc to get mine ordered. I would highly recommend Oklahoma Driveline, he was great to work with, cheap, and very fast. It took him less than a week to get in the parts and have the driveshaft made.

Ok, here are some pics of the transmission before and after cleaning and all the side so somone can point out to me, either by saving the picture and editing it in paint and uploading it through photobucket, that would be a great help.

Before CleaningAfter CleaningOther side

Im going to get some steel wool on the outside of the transmission later on, when i get the chance so it shines....

And here is what looks like something goes here.... but im not sure.....

And since mine is gone..... What in the hell can i replace it with?!

also to get your speed sensor to work you need to use the KA speed sensor that is why I only go 39 Mph on the freeway and pass people cause i did not change the sensors.

Does anyone here at this forum have an RB25DET that had to have thiers resplaced, and if so, where and was it the OEM one or was it one from another car, for instance the KA one, which is said to be not the adequate length, or will one from a Z32 work?

I ordered one through paul at NISMO along with a slave cyl. I could NOT find ANY slave cyl that would work with our trannies in the US. Same deal with the VSS, I got sick of having no speedo so I sucked it up and ordered the correct one from paul. It was like $75.

The KA one does NOT fit. Niether the auto or m/t unit.
