RB25det Series II Power FC Problem

hi all i have looked all over for some info about the problem i am having with my power fc... all i can find about it is that if the controller is not match to the ecu it will be stuck on the apexi logo.. well i bought mine off ebayer from a guy that said it was bought new but had sold the car and never used it.. it came in a bundle bow with the ecu and controller together i have also checked on the controller it says FCC3 ( so newer style) and the ecu says ECR33 ( so newer style)... to me it seems as if the screen kinda blinks when it is stuck on the apexi logo could this be cuased from a ground issue for the ecu?? i have it swapped into a s13 and did all the wiring my self found on the internet. have had the car running with stock ecu.. if more if is needed just ask..!

hmm in my s13 the ecu needed to be grounded to chassis it was weird but that fixxed all problems i had with it

okay, but i did have the stock ecu on it today sitting on the windsheild and i had it running it ideals really good but has lagg from when i blip the gas to when it revs up for that...? also i could try to see if it will run with just the apexi ecu to rule out that the ecu is broken?

also what is the best way toadjust hard starts? i have q45 TB with plunger pulled off and also have fast idle adjusted sometime it starts right up and other it just cranks ?
