RB25det Series 2 TPS on a Series 1 harness.

I recently bought a front facing plenum for my rb25det with a series 2 throttle body. Unfortunately i didn't relise the series 2 throttle bodies were differnt than the series 1's so my TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) wont work with it. Now i have 2 options; Buy a series 1 throttle body to fit my series 1 TPS, or buy a Series 2 TPS to fit the Series 2 throttle body that i currently have.

Since buying a Series 2 TPS is the cheaper option, iv been trying to find out if there is any way that the Series 2 TPS will work on a series 1 RB25DET with a bit of re-wiring? I'v searched all over google and found nothing.
