rb25det series 2 problem

so i just got my series 2 motor dropped in wired up and ready to go and I'm running in to some issues with wiring apparently.... no wipers (however squirter works), no ecu light, no starter (grounded well). I'm going to get back at it tonight with the multimeter and see exactly what is and isn't getting juice, so my question is .... is there a significant difference in the series 1 and series 2 ecu pinout and or m63 plug???? I went over my wiring diagrams and seemed to notice they look pretty much identical and if they are identical I've got a big problem because I tested all the ecu pins to the m63 pins for continuity and they were good. Any help would be aswesome!
