I got a guy offering to trade me turbo's from his RB powered s14. Its a series 1 turbo, 58k miles, no shaft play. He wants something bigger, I want something smaller. I asked him $250 plus his turbo, anyone have any knowledge on this? I want something that spools sooner (mine hits like 6lbs at 4500, starts boosting at 3500), so a t3 turbine and t28 compressor (englarged wheels) would be more fun on the KA. Mine feels so smooth and strong under boost, but was dead even with a t25 KA from 65 to 120, so Im' not insanely happy with it. It will spin through 2nd HARD, but I want something funner for daily driving, I dont want to rev like a honda to get boost. So what's everyones opinions?

Brandon said its non-ceramic, therefore it wont anialate itself at high boost. I wont have high boost anyway, but eh.

Yea I want to do it.....I made an offer to him.

O yea forgot he has the stronger internals than the Series 2. Series 2 is limited to like 11-12 psi max.

You should have full spool by 2800-3000. If you don't, somthing is wrong. Also, my buddy ran 16 psi with that turbo for over a year everyday.

Definitly keep us posted...I can get RB turbo's pretty cheap. I still like the RB20 with the inconel exhaust wheel and ceramic ball bearings...will last forever and have NO lag. Not good for power, but 8-10 psi will be fun.
