There really isn't to much differance between the two. Most of them are actually the car itself (different bumper, rims, and interior. For the motor, well the main differance is that ignitor chip. S1 and S1.5 have the ignitor chip on the center cover of the valve covers in the back agianst the firewall and the SII has the ignitor actually built into the ECU (like OB1 and OBII cars). I have heard that the turbos are slightly different, but nothing to really notice. Hard to tell when they are made by Hitachi and have no specs on either of the two.

If you want SII tell the guy in Japan that it has to be from a 96-97 Skyline GTS-25t...anything younger then that is a S1- S1.5 (same).

thanks, that's what I thought too. I was wondering if I canuse a series 2 wiring on a series 1 but I talk to jon and he said it's not going to happen, that's why I was curious, to see how many plugs will fit and how many won't. thanks
