RB25DET S2 with haltech e11

I am have my rb25det s2 in my s13 and now installing a haltech e11 v2. I am not sure about the ignitor/coilpacks. Has anyone used the haltech setup. Haltech says it can go direct to "Intelligent" ignitors?? Or do I have to add a ignitor??Help Please

the rb25 s2 has the igniter intergrated within the ecu. you will either have to wire in using haltech's igniter or the another rb/j30/or z32 igniter

the s2 doesn't have the ignitor in the ecu its in the coil packs, The stock ecu's s1&s2 both output the same waveform thats y u can use a pfc on a s1 or s2

Im sure you wire it in, but if its like my Mircotech you are able to order bosch coils, they are new and for sure work... Also cheaper than replacing the stockers.

from the wiring diagram i got from Haltech for my the rb25det back then, it wires into the external igniter; so, you will need to get a hold of one. you can get the Haltech 3 Channel Ignition Module for your E11; http://www.haltech.com/ignmodule.htm and run direct fire wasted spark coils configuration. your 2nd option will be getting an j30 or z32 igniter and wire it in to run sequential setup with stock coils.

I am doing the same set up on my Rb25 s2, I was wondering what other mods do you have on yours, and what type of numbers are you expecting???

Thanks for the help. I am doing everything pretty much stock except my turbo was bad so I am doing a T3/T4, I have the greedy intake, and custom 3" exhaust. Not to much..I went with the haltech for future options...
