hi i am wondering if i need both the IACV and ACC hooked up on my new intake manifold. My friend only used an IACV on his rb20 intake manifold and it runs fine.

He did not use this one.

Do i need both?

thanks steve

Yes, this is a stock rail.

If I run my stock computer what do i need to keep? Both the IACV and the ACC. or one of these?

The one with the blue connector is not really needed. Mine is in a box somewhere.

Nice intake manifold BTW. looks good. I did the exact same thing with my fuel rail!

This is mounted the same way the factory rail would mount. You said you didn't run that crap, I have a stock ecu and I think I might need at least one of these.

thanks

ahh, i am looking at the rb20, which already has top feed injectors nm, all those two things do it regulate idle when its cold outside and when you are using AC, my buddy didnt plug anyof that up on a stock ecu on his SR and you just had to manually choke the car (keep it running) when it was cold outside, and i dont think he had a CEL, i mean an SR is not a RB but i dont see it mattering that much

So you can do without the air regulator but not the IACV??? I have a freind that has a ca18 in a 200sx. He did away with both and he adjusted his idle at the Throttle body... Doesnt the IACV tell the ecu how mcuh fuel to dump while driving and idle??

and which plug messes with the IACV when the ac on?? Is it the brown or purple plug?? And can that plug be not be used??

If you plan on running the stock ecu, keep the air regulator, it helps for cold starts. But it looks like your setup requires a standalone, which doesn't need the air regulator. Ficd solenoid for ac, is the purple clip. One of the wires should be yellow.
