They are hydraulic lifters, so there is no valve adjustment. The oil pressure pumps the lifter buckets up to take up the slack between the lifter bucket and cam lobe.

Why do you ask?

Common problem. I had 2 motors with bad lifters. Every time I'd heat up the oil......ticky ticky ticky.

still trying to figure out my misfire from this thread:

help-to-get-my-car-running-right-lots-o ... 07304.html

had someone suggest it to me, and i was pretty sure there was no adjustment, but i just had to ask. also is it possible to have 155ish compression and have a bent valve? i was pretty sure there would be no compression with a bent valve but im just trying every angle to try to figure this out.

If your compression numbers are that good, bent valve is VERY unlikely unless its stuck shut. I am sure that would make one hell of a noise.
