Rb25det s1 or s2 tomei poncam issue

Ok so I am trying to order a set of tomei poncam for my series 2 rb25det. I came across a few threads that say that the poncam s2 and s1 only refers to your cam angle sensor. I have the series 2 rb25 that uses the older style cas the silver one which is the same as the s1 cas. So basically I need to know for sure if I have a series 2 rb25 with the silver CAS do I order s1 poncams or s2??? Thanks

Also If anyone knows of better cam I can run without solids let me know. I do have upgraded springs and retainers but still on hydro lifters.

Series 1 poncams are for both series 1 and 2 RB25DET's (half moon cas). Series 2 poncams are only for neo RB25DET's (star cas)

and some super late r33 motors as well for the s2, but it should be denoted late.

these guys speak the truth, i had bought series 2 cams thinking they were for a non neo series 2 motor.... there not, for Neo motors only

This is why we verify every RB camshaft order with our customer before processing .
Most other companies do not understand the application differences and relay on the customer to choose.
