RB25DET Run Test (In Clip)

We just purchased a RB25DET Clip from a Skyline. I want to do a run test before I pull the Engine from the clip. Battery connections appear straight forward. Fuel connections are another issue. I have the fuel pump from the clip. However, I am having trouble locating documentation on a temporary fuel configuration to test the clip. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

give it power and ground it will be fine, thats what the fuel pressure regulator is for.

Thanks Carl, I was less than clear. The electrical part is not the key issue. I can get the fuel pump power with no problem. I am most concerned with the plumbing & mechanical side of a temporary fuel pump/tank configuration. The thought of putting the powered pump into a open bucket of gas is not appealing. This was the approach suggested to me as no fuel tank came with the clip.

I was considering running a fuel supply line from another running car to avoid this perceived hazard. Thought I would ask how I is done elsewhere...
