RB25det rough idle and other issues

I have a s1 RB27det in my s14. When i idle it its sits at 2,500 or bounces down to about 1,500 then just bounces back up. The car feels rough below 2,500 when im in gear. I wish i had a dyno to show a power curve but the only time i feel like im making decent power is at about 7k from 4500-6 its alright anything below 4500 is crap.

Also my car on the highway was doing 5k while going only 75

anyone have any idea?

my friends 2003 eclipse beat me on the highway while keeping it in 4th.

Bored to 2.7 weisco pistons z32maf 4xxcc injectors koyo rad dual fans. stock turbo upgraded fuel pump upgraded oil pump full 3" exhaust.

The one thing i thought it was is i have a little blitz electronic tuning device in my car that is NOT hooked up. Maybe the previous owner tuned it to run on that then disconnected it so the motor is set to run on the aftermarket ECU but is getting stock signals?

boost hold steady at the stock 7 the whole way.

You should get some sort of aftermarket computer and do a retune yourself, it will be easier to get it running right that way. You've got too many mod to try getting to run right on an unknown tune.

The tach needs to be calibrated. There's a blue screw on the back of the tach which can be adjusted to read somewhat correctly.

See my friend though the same thing no big deal your tach is just off. This however cannot be true. at around 2900 i build boost if my tach was off that would be what? 1500? my turbo should spool around that point so it makes sense. Also dont these speedos read off the tac? my speed is 100% on point did a test with my friends car.

it was also sitting for about a year if that helps any. It was covered and on concrete so the worst that happened was some serious rubber and plastic rot.

The engine also makes a rattle when in gear under 2,000rpm it sounds like the top end maybe the cam linkage. When i first started it after it sat for a year it sounded really bad. But i drove it 10 hours home no problem.

Any info to a post where i can learn how to tune it. I dont know where to start
