Ok yesterday I was talking to a guy from "ACT" and he said he thought that the 300zx "non turbo" year 91-96 will fit a RB25DET. Is this correct??? Has anyone ever used a 300zx non turbo clutch kit on a RB25DET? I dont have that much money left over because as you all know this swap is hella cash. please help.....

Secondly, there is a rusted tubular shaft on the intake manifold where the radiator hose connects to . What should I do about that? Is it compressed in or welded in?

Here is a list of my spendings so far....

-Front Clip front Clip $2500-OEM Engine rebuild gasket kit $ 159-OEM Water pump $ 84-HKS Timing belt $ 166 -OEM Oil Pump $ 164-OEM Thermostat $ 22-Syko Performance mounting kit $ 500-Clutch kit $200 (if stock 300zx will work)-rear diff (300zx LSD) $ 300 -Tein Flex Coilovers $1200-Driveshaft $349-Wiring harness conversion $350 ----------- total $5994

Im just waiting on the wiring harness and the clutch....and she is finished. I have pictures of the entire swap that I will post up on here next week when im finished

Here is what that rusted part looks like!

non-turbo Z32 clutches work on the RB25 no problem.

I'm not near my car so a picture of what your referring to (water pipe) will...

to add pictures:

go to - Imageshack.us

upload picture to imageshack

copy - URL of picture (one of the last sting of URL's you'll see when you get this far)

post on NICO - hit the picture button and paste the URL within the 2 (IMG) breaks.

it seems alot longer than it really is.

+ this is how I do it, others might do it another way.

I have that clutch, and thats where I got it.

Your radiator neck is ****ed, its pressed in. I have a good full intake manifold for an rb25det that will be pulled within a couple weeks I can set you up with.

PM me if you want it.

Edit nevermind you already bought a driveshaft. I was gonna say get it from shaftmasters. Best prices by far.

My manifold is gone, sorry man. I gave it to a buddy whom I owed a favor to.

Hi, im new to the site and this is my first post. Im from the bahamas and im the owner/driver of a 93 GTS 25DET, in a few months i intend on doing some work to my motor. Bought the car in 05 from a local dealer, since then had a lil rough time with it as she was hit once,.. i did all the neccessary repairs and she was running just fine (luckily nuttin happened to the motor). But since of late everything went wrong, from the factory turbo gone bad to cat convertor gasket leak to a lil funny knocking ( not a loud one but can be heard after a while of driving like its out of oil,..but its not). Well n e way i intend on taking the motor out and checking all the internals and seeing if n e thing needs replacing or n e thing. Only thing done to the car soo far was a front mount,.. i have a top mount exhaust that is to be installed also. Need a few tips and guidlelines on doing this build as im looking at a goal of about 400-450. Will post my finidngs on the motor when i finally do get round to it which will be pretty shortly. Hope to get some good feed back with this.p.s :D inspiring skyline enthusiast and wanna be builder:D,.. alot info required
