I have read countless hours of posts related to what I am about to ask. It always ends in trolling, the data is 3-5+yrs old or older, or no one posts anything of substance.
I have a 1990s13 and a couple of series 2 RB25DETs. I see all these 2jzs and stuff pulling such good #s and 1/4 passes, but I truly love the sound of an RB. To top it all off I love my s13!
Is it far fetched to want an Rb25det powered s13 to run below 10s?!

I am not talking a budget build of $5k with eBay trash on it. I'm talking $15-20k minimum in just the engine?

Below 10s (meaning, in the 9s) is a pretty lofty goal. The AMS guys did it with a KA back in the day.

I'm sure it can be done if you've got enough money, time, and willingness to modify the car so it really isn't fun/useful on the street anymore.

Ooh, neat project/ goal. If you love driving your S13, you may want to make a drag racer out of a different car. If you love wrenching on it or drag racing it, you might want to proceed with your plans. I feel like it's do-able. I did a bit of searching here and there and found the following articles and threads. I hope you find some useful information in each one.

Thanks guys. And yes, it's strictly a race car. I do not rely on it.
I talked with enjuku. They are helping as well!

Enjuku is great. They are no stranger to high quality/high horsepower builds.
