I was just wondering, I have been looking for a Power FC for a while now and seems like the one from AP Engineering is a special order and hard to get a hold of, not to mention expensive. Now, I have been searching around here for the past couple of days now for information, and I have seen someone mention they were going to use the RB25DET Power FC (I assume the r33 version, not the R34). Question is has anyone ever successfully used an RB25 PFC with an RB20, can someone confirm this for me? I need to get my car tuned regardless, I really dont need the base map, I figured as long as it plugs in Im good... Thanks for your help!

i run a powerfc to suit a r33 rb25det on my rb20, works fine.you'll need to repin the ecu plug for a couple of wires but other than that its a drop in.

very cool. i am looking into this also (after winter im getting pfc as well) you wouldnt happen to have a diagram or whatnot of the wires that need to be changed would you? or just corresponding number location would do just fine also. i imagine a few people would be interested in this.

Oh really thats good to know. What ever happened with the Bikirom stuff?I was really interested in it, but I guess there is not enough demand for it.But I'll pick up a R33 PFC now that I know.

i would imagine its just chaging the pins to their locations on the rb25 pinout. if no one chimes in with something soon, ill do it being i will need it soon anyway. but if my idea is wrong for some reason, please let me know.

yes there are a few diffrences between the 2 but the critical ones are the injector triggers for cyls 4 and 6.swap those and done, make sure to upgrade injectors and comp against rb25 370cc and you'll be fine.heres the pfc faq, after discussing it with paul on the fourms he added the fitment info, it works but you'll loose you ac idle up because the rb25 has an fcid valve to kick idle up for ac but the rb20 doesnt...shouldnt affect most of us.http://paulr33.skylinesaustral...tm#41
