Why do you want the 97? You already have an S14

Personally i'd grab the 97, cause i love those headlights. Sell your current car, use the money to get the RB25DET engine put in the new beauty somewhere other than where you were quoted! 4500 is high IMO.

Sounds good! I have a 90 and 93, it's fun having two. You can play with one and rip her apart every weekend without having to worry about how to get to work :)

The RB is a no brainer in my opinion. Get and S13 later on or something. Nothin cooler than having an S13 with and SR and an S14 with an RB. And if you want to get the 97 and sell the 95 you could do that and just swap it to 5 speed when you install the RB

how is $4500 too high for a 97 SE?

Anyways...between the two choices...I would go with the RB. Sure the 97 front end is bad ***...but is it really worth the hassle?

oh yea.....if you already have $5000 to blow....get the car...sell your other one......and have a clean smart start. :)

RB, and if you really HAVE to have the kouki lights, spend a bit of the excess on a conversion.

Its really up to you man. We cant decide for you because there isnt a "x product is better than y product" answer. Its a matter of your own opinion. I for one dont have the need, money for extra insurance, or space for another car. I need a daily driver that is fast and handles well. Its a matter of whether or not you need or want a second car. I for one dont.

4500 is not high for the car, if that the way you took it.

But if you took it as what i meant.. for the engine and swap.. it just is to me, i can get it done for about 3500-3850 installed.
