rb25det oil

i just recently got my motor installed and i want to change the oil out. i dont know if this has been covered or not but i was wondering1) How much oil do you put in rb25?2) What kind of oil is best? synthetic or regular? and what weight oil?

i use 10w30 royal purple in mine, takes about 6 quarts. but just use ur dipstick to be sure. also it uses the same oil filter as a ka, id recomend k&n or oem nissan

4.5 quart; your choice either 10w30 or 10w40

actually u are right, i just remember buying 6 quarts but didnt take that much.

ive used alot of different oils but amsoil has been my favorite by far 10w30 turbo formulated. i love it!!!

dude if you pour all 6 qrts into the motor, oil probably will cover the whole crank. the crank doesn't like to swim. let alone that sh1t will leak everywhere.
