Post

Hi guys it's my first post on this forum(I finally decided to register), I've been searching everywhere and I can't seem to find the fix at all.
I have a s13 with a rb25det and I installed my new power Fc ecu excited to tune it (the stock ecu works and runs fine I just wanted a tune), the power Fc ecu starts the car up but the idle is all over the place and I let it run for 10 minutes and it just seemed to get worse. It is going from 800-1200-3000-700 rpm's, it idled fine and drove fine with the stock ecu. Watching the timing it goes from 15-17 to 32 for a second then goes back down, it seems like it's about to idle out and then it just spikes up or down.
I'm running stock Sensors
It isn't throwing up any codes and I've tried to check relay or fuse #7.
I've tried not using the hand controller.
I took off the O2 sensor function.
I took off the boost controller function.
The engine runs fine with the stock ecu, but it can't idle at all with the power Fc.

Very strange.I haven't done any tuning with the power FC, but it sounds like you've got either an idle duty cycle/target setting incorrect, or maybe too much/not enough fuel at idle, and its hunting to try to find stability.
