ok, searching isn't getting me very far (maybe i'm trying to search too specific)

so i'm trying to figure out if and where the neutral safety switch is on my rb25det transmission. it's from an r33. from what i'm gathering it's the same wire and harness as the KA motor set? someplease let me know if this is correct.

thank you

Is this for an auto? Or do you mean neutral position switch for the manual?

neatral position switch for manual. after some more searching i'm pretty sure it's pin #33 on the ecu G/OR but if someone could verify i'd appreciate it.

i actually looked right over it cause it was called "transmission neutral switch" and i missed the neutral when skimming. just need to find it so i can hook up a remote start properly.

i don't think the ECU cares if the car is in neutral or not when starting. it only cares if the clutch pedal is depressed (assuming that isn't bypassed). thats why on a factory manual nissan car you can start it in any gear as long as the clutch is depressed

nah....i know the car will start without it...and i know i need to bypass the clutch switch. (it'll only be bypassed when the remote start is active) but i want to tap the neutral switch so the remote start won't activate if the car is in gear. safety first!
