RB25DET NEO on S13

Hey guys. I"m new in this forum and new in the Nissan community. I am currently building an rb25det neo. When I removed the head from the block, I noticed that there was sludge on top of the pistons and there are very small scratches on the cylinder walls. I touched it with my finger and the scratches were smooth "I cant feel the scratches". Does this mean I need a rebore. Sorry for the noob question. This is my first project.

Can you feel the scratches with your fingernail, as in will your fingernail catch it?
