Is the RB25 manual transmission the same as the N/A 300ZX. If at some point I want to rebuild it, can I use a kit or atleast some parts from the N/A 300ZX?

This has been talked about in a few other threads, but I wanted to try and get some definitive answers from people that have rebuilt them.

I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT THE VG30E TRANNYS BOLT UP AND ARE THE STANDARD STYLE transmission NOT THE EXTENDED LINKAGE LIKE THE Z32S. IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION, THE INTERNALS ARE PRETTYSIMILAR SO I'M SURE SOME OF IT CAN BE REDONE WITH VG30DE transmission PARTS.
