Car: 1995 Nissan 240sx se swapped with a RB25DET

Post

Hello nico family! I am excited to be a part of the 240 community and Nissan community. I recently bought my 1995 Nissan 240sx with a rb25det swapped into it and I bought it knowingly that it had a bad maf sensor, causing me to unplug it to start the car and plug it back in when the car is on. After that it runs great ! Now its something I want to get out to way as soon as possible, it’s just annoying to have to do it everyday since this will be my daily for a while.

Thing is I can’t locate the MAF Sensor itself , I know how it looks and I thought it was this black cyclinder that’s connected to the air filter but no it’s just that a black cyclinder that connects to the rubber hose. I’ve been looking and just can’t seem to locate it, any ideas where I should be looking ? I know this is a noob question but seriously cannot see it. Any help will be appreciated guys thank you !

mac, drive up to the nearest Nissan Dealer, walk around the back - "bay" area (not Back Bay Boston- you don't wanna go THERE  ). Seriously with a 6-pac of like...Pabst (PBR) find mechanic doin noth'n and he'll show you where it's at - the MAF , give up the beer ,I do this all the time . :yesnod You'll see it "Live and IN COLOR".Don't talk to any Robots on the way out. :squint:

Lol you all good fam :bigthumb: , we all had to learn at some point in time. This website has a plethora of information available, just please use the search button first. My biggest problem is not knowing what keyword to search. So if you ever feel stuck just ask, but try to search your problems first and then start a thread.
