I have a series 1 rb25det with greddy intake mani q45 throttle body and Z32 MAF in my 95 s14 and am having some issues... the care seems to idle and run ok but when you try to get on it and "race shift" it bogs out and looses all power for several seconds, but if you take the rpms up slowly it seems to do ok.... so im thinking it may have to do with the z32 MAF. I put a air/fuel gauge on it and at idle its fine but when you take the rpms up it gets very lean.(fuel pressure is good) I guess im wondering if anyone has had similar problems with putting this MAF on or how can i check to see if the MAF is bad? I think the maf is good cuz if i take the rpm up slowly it seems to be fine... its only when i really get on it is when it starts to act up and buck and loose power.

Thanks

you can't just throw a z32 maf in the car and hope for the best.

Did you do anything to retune for that MAF?

The maf isn't bad the ecu is getting the wrong signal for the maf. Its expecting a certain voltage range and its getting a lot less. Of course its going to run leaner.

Put on the stock maf or say bye bye to your pistons.

Dude, put the damn stock MAF on your car, or put in the power FC and tell it you are using a Z32 MAF. As said above, you can't just put a Z32 MAF on your car and call it a day. Not to be a d!ck, but how did you learn enough from the internet or where ever to know a Z32 MAF will meter more air but not know you need something to read it correctly?

You don't need anyone to tune the PFC. That's the beauty of it. It is a true plug 'n' play. The stock maps should be plenty conservative for a stock setup.

All you have to do is go into the hand controller menu, deselect the Apexi boost control kit unless you actually have it installed, and change the MAF selection from RB25 to VG30. Done. WEEEE!
