I just got my RB25DET and I was wondering if there where any problems that I might get when I'm swapping it.If there is anyone who already did this I would really appreciate it if you could give me a walktrough of how you did it.

As long as you have the engine, transmission, ECU wiring harness and the pipes for the IC, you should be golden. Should be just a straight in swap.

What about the harness..the one from the r32 is different from the r33.

I can't say specifically what is different, but the R32 harness is for an RB20DE/E so it's ECU is going to have different pin-outs. Just play it safe and get the harness from the 25 that way you are eliminating all of the guess work from the swap.

OK, the RB20 is out and the RB25 is in. Now for the harness. I asked around and they said I should use the diagrams and pinouts, but that didin't help. I've never done this before so I wouldn't know where to start. If there is someone out the tht could point me in the right directionit would really help out alot.

Did you get the RB25DET harness and ECU like I said to to make your job easier?

As far as diagrams on where things go? I don't know. Every time I ever did a swap, we didn't disconnect the main harness from the donor car's engine. We pulled the engine and the harness was all connected. Only unhooked from the ECU itself.

And, you should also try asking this question in the RB forums.

Be sure to be very detailed when explaining your situation. It will help out immensely when trying to get help.

No prob...allot of wires might still be the same...as long as you write the color of the wires I could trase them back to be sure...
