RB25det intake spring

Should there be a spring inside the ruber intake pipeing that goes from the turbo to MAF. I know the SRs have it. I think mine is collapseing under higher boost. I can squeeze it almost completely shut WAY to easily after it warms up.

Anybody got en extra one they are not using?

why not whip up a custom hard pipe intake?proly cheaper than what most ppl want for the stock boot.

I might do that. I figured a lot of people had already done a custom pipe so there might be some going to waste.

So can anyone tell me if there is a spring in it to keep it from collapsing?
