I'm looking for an RB25DET currently and from my research, the Z32 ecu is the best way to go (with a type 2 board from Nistune). I found a company that makes wiring harnesses for all sorts of Nissan swaps (wiring specialties). They have a wiring harness for the Z32 ecu, however, the harness also includes wiring for the transmission (which I wouldn't use as I'll be sticking with my T5 (Yes it fits with very little work) in my 84 Z31 slicktop). I want the most bang for the buck without being optionless. $1600 for the ecu, wiring harness, Z32 MAF, and the type 2 board. Not bad for the money. But would I be able to use the Z32 ecu if I don't plug in the transmission harness? I'd just hate to do all that work and spend that money just to have the ecu keep going into limp mode.
