ok. after reading the step by step instructions it seems that i am directed to use the the existing ka harness. it raised a rather simple question, which most likely has a very simple answer, and im just missing it. why doesnt anyone use the rb25det harness instead of the ka? i mean wouldnt that be alot easier, especially considering the rb ecu has to be used anyways? that was the engine harness will run all the engine as it was originally designed. sorry for the long post...

EDIT: nevermind, im an idiot and misread the instructions entirely.... i think it was line 2, ·that confused the hall out of me.

2. The RB harness’ white main plug (B-82) has been cut off close to the bundle. Cut all of KA wiring harness that will be used at the ECU plug. All wiring connections will be done at the RB wiring bundle close to the ECU inside the car. I will refer to this as the “white plug”.

You can use the RB lower harness, but there are a few extra wires that you won't use in it. If I had it to do over again, I'd just cut the plugs off of the KA harness and attach them to the RB wiring appropriately.

Darius, do you know which ones NOT to use, or where there is a thread on this? I have all my other wiring done and could easily use the KA lower harness but the RB is already on there, looks great and the wire's, plugs and everything is better than the stuff on the KA harness. Let me know, I'm sure its been done before.
