Ganbate Gaijin-san!

Other than that, I really don't have any idea on weather or not an RB will fit in an S12.

its going to be a tight fit. Im pretty sure there is less room front to rear under the hood of the s12 than the s13. Also, I dont think a sr20det or ka24de just bolts into a s12, so you will most likely need custom made mounts and drive shaft. If you keep the power steering, you're probably going to have to move the radiator forward somehow. I have a koyo racing radiator in my s13 and I can barely fit my finger between the pully and the radiator.

Thats my 2 cents. I make no guarantee for its accuracy.

check out http://www.club-s12.org/ for s12 specific info. (no s12 luv on nico)

I used to drive an 85 200sx xe from time to time. Much fun.

It is possible. I am in the process of doing it. Look on Club-s12 under "hybrids" and there is a thread I started on it.. I am also swapping out the rear subframe/diff for a 240 one.. Which is no easy task.

Major problems:-Obd1 -vs- Obd 0-Transmission tunnel is not large enough for RB25 transmission-Speed signal is mechanical in the S12-Crossmember will not work, you will need either a skyline one or a 240 one (requires widening of bolt holes to fit into s12 location.-Engine must be installed from bottom

From what I can see the shifter will line up, and the wiring shouldnt be TOO bad.. I am using the s12 lower engine harness, but am having to adapt a few relays (mainly ignition) to suit the RB25... Keep an eye on CLUBs12 for updates..

well if the CA18DET will bolt in an S12 which i know it will than i dont see why a SR20 or a KA wouldnt bolt in wither for that matter. as for an RBmight be able to score some mckinney mounts and make them work for swap.

Did I not just explain that it WILL fit with modifications?

Another problem I forgot about is the steering column, and the fact that the downpipe litterally touches it. You need a custom downpipe FROM the turbo.

PS- I used core performance mounts. But you could likely use stock mounts and an R33 crossmember to make it work on a budget.
