I use to get a lot of people coming in with their own piping to get an IC on their RB or even SR and every time I needed to cut and reclock a pipe and add at least one new pipe to it the more of your piping you can weld together the better, welds don't pop off or leak at high boost. the time and money spent on having your IC done right is well worth it and will save you from a boat load of headache later.

No the SR20 piping will not fit. Are you using the stock throttle body or Q45 on the greddy intake? If you are using the stock throttle body I am sure 2.75in piping for the cold and hot side would be fine. Q45 I would use 3in cold side and 2.75 hot side if your using the stock turbo. I really can't help you with the size of the intercooler but you can look on cxracing's website, I know they have 240 specific cores that will fit fine. Also search around and find out what everyone else is using.

I know that it will not fit exactly the same. im going to be using the stock throttle body. I did some research and i found pictures of the setups. dont you think that the sr20 one will fit the rb with really minor modifications?

Well from the looks of it you could fab it up but honestly I would just start from scratch to meake it a clean install. Piping is cheap and there are many places that can tig weld the pipes for you. Just make sure your measure correctly.

It really looks like i can save $100 on just getting the sr20det kit. they both look so much alike.

Are you running the stock s14 radiator on the rb?

Famous last words...

But some mandrel bends and mig them together. much better than a 'kit' and it will actually work, rather than trying to retro-fit.
