Alright guys im looking into putting a rev limit/2 step controller on the RB.

I dont know what ignition boxes are supported in the Rb with it being an inline 6 and its weird ignition.

Does the MSD 6-series with the MSD Soft Touch Rev Control and the MSD #8739 2 Step Module Selector together provide with the proper ignition?

I need a rev limiter off the line, 2 step for boost and a rev limiter top end for if I miss a gear or screw the drivetrain and the engine spikes and I dont kill it.

I also am buying a Power FC within the next few months, SO it will all need to work together.

Thanks for any information!!!! Im lost on this.

The PFC should have nothing to do with your two-step. The ignition interface that you use must only deal with the signal wires from the ECU to the coils because obviously the RB coils are on each plug. I'm not sure how the MSD works, but I'm pretty sure it will be compatible with the RB as long as it doesn't have its own coils. That would be bad.

Does anyone even know if the msd 6 IGNITION box will work on the RB? I would hate to spend 400$ and it not work.

i believe that the 6al box will not work with coil on plug. i think what you need to look into is the 7al box

I have the Gizzmo 2 step works well with the RB. You might check into that.

fast_s14 - So you got the shift light interface and two-step add-on for the Gizzmo?

I messed up when i typed that. I meant to say that i heard that the gizzmo 2 step works well with the RB. Hxc_nismo has one and i have seen on a few posts that it works good. sorry for the confusion

So did you use the Gizzmo with the Stock ECU? Also how did you hook it up?

Im assuming you picked up the main signal wire for the coil from the ecu and spliced in there?

Im not that good with the electronics out there, So its all kinda German to me. But I wanna learn how they all work, and what combination of electronics out there work best together. Thanks for the info!!!!
