rb25det help need

hi i got an rb25det in my s14. I drove it today the first time.There is a problem the fuel cuts off when the boost comes on.

it might be in limp mode because afm might be damaged

stock turbo, front intercooler it is rb25det

it just want rev passt like 3000rmp I think it might be because the computer doest recive the air folwinput. My wiring was done by mckinney.

What you think it might be afm im geting a new one on monday

check your afm voltage at the ecu harness.

Air flow meter sounds like it might be your problem. If you are in need of one, I have an old one laying around. Is your car series one or 2? They have the same signals, just different plugs.

By chance are you running the stock fuel pump? I ran one for a week or so and had VERY sluggish response

no im running walbro fuel pump.

how can you check the voltage in maf?

check the output wire for between .5 and 5.0 volts

vacuum leak. ill bet you have an intercooler hose thats disconnected or has a leak.

I am 100% sure that I have no boost leak.Here is the picture of my engine.And does anyone know where that wire in the left corner go?

sorry i kno this dosent have any thing to do with your problem but where did you get your hot and cold pipes

Ir works 100%, I have a series 2 maf, same signal different plug. If it doesnt fix your problem, return it and I will return your money, minus shipping of course....I have the plug also you will need to change the plug. I personally would first double check your wiring. You may have made a mistake when extending the wires and mixed them up, it happens.

ok here it is we wired a safc2 today to my car and the safc shows thaht airfolw is 0 every thing els works

we did the manual wiring

I would check that the power wire for the MAF is getting power, that the ground wire is indeed a good ground and that the MAF is showing between .5 and 5 votls on the signal wire.

THEN if that is all good, I would check the MAF signal wire at the ECU and make sure taht I have the same signal there.

If all is straight, power and ground wise, and still no signal, then you need a MAF.

ok on my ecu there are #MEC-R281 23710 05v61

i found that on the other forum that this ecu is from bnr32 that is gtr?

could this be a problem?

23710 05V61 is no good...23710 05U61 is for an RB26DETT R32
