rb25det Head valve Question

Car: 1990 Nissan 240SX 5.3 Chevy + 60mm turbo + blow threw carb.

I need to know the Valve stem Height or the Lifter Pre-load of the Rb25det head with stock valves and valve springs. Anyone know? I cant find it anywere.

anyone? im finishing my head tonight and need these specs. We have called everywere and no one knows.

It is in the R33 FSM page SD-3.

The length from the tip of the valve to the combustion chamber side of the valve mating surface is 85.3-85.5mm (INT) and 87.3-87.5mm (EXH).

It is wayyyy in the back. But now that you mention that, I think the first FSM I downloaded like 5 years ago didn't have those pages either.

ill have to look at wat version i got when i get to the shop later. Im almost positive its the old version. I looked last night for about an hour and all mine would give is the lifter specs.but thanks you found exactly wat i was lookin for.

i dunno what motor that spec is u gave me but its not for the rb25 valves. mine un cut was like 52mm $ 57mmwe cut them to around 42mm and 47mm

Why the eff did you cut your valve stems to 42 and 47mm? Are you talking about the valve guides? There is no way your valves are only 47 mm long unless you are doing some crazy solid lifter conversion. That's less than 2 inches long.

You must be talking about something else because this doesn't make sense.
