well im posting for a friend, again.. he's just wondering what the stock RB25DET Series II head gasket thickness is? he just got his head resurfaced and what not. any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ok, well my friend talked to the people machine shop, and they said they took off .004" of an inch, which is = to about .1mm. Could he use an OEM gasket set, or does he have to buy a metal head gasket to compensate?

butt............ a metal head gasket and arp head studs arent a bad thought!

he plans on getting ARP studs. and i guess the stock set is $200 and the metal is the same so yea lol

If he isn't going to make 600+ rwhp, stick with the stock HG and go with the arp studs. Save him the headache. The stock one is very strong and seals the best.
