Wow, that's a weird one. I think I have only seen on R33 GTS4 in my 3 years on Okinawa, and I junkyard hop all the time. And that one was a stick. Good luck and I'll keep my eyes open.

Hey where in Okinawa are you? I'm down at Camp Hansen. Just wanted to meet some of the guys out here while I had the opportunity. I'll be getting on ship pretty soon however.

the r33 gts-4 only came in auto...so if it was manual it had been converted.gl finding a box man...gonna be super hard to do.

Hmm, didn't know that. I have seen a couple (literally two) auto R32 GTS4's. I wonder if they would work? Anyways, maybe converting it to manual if going to be your best option.

I'm up in Awase. Check out zeroyon.com It's where pretty much anybody into cars hangs out internet wise on Oki. There are meets, competitions, and cruises set up all the time on there.

id imagine the r32 uses the same box as the r33, no reason to change it and poweroutput from the turbo engine is more than the na 25 so it should hold up.

ok, so maybe my best option would be to find an r32 gts-4 rb20det automatic transmission, but wouldn't the ecu for the r32 auto transmission be a little different then for the rb25? thanks for all your input and suggestions.

stagea used a different transmission and had tiptronic like the r34 gt-t.i think it is also a 5spd box so it would need the full control unit to work properly.

ok thanks. i thought i have seen some of the rb25's from a stagea that didn't look like they were tiptronic cause they didn't have the extra part that you can shift like a manual, but maybe i just misunderstood on how they looked. thanks for all your help
