So I pulled the stock manifold and transferred everything using common sense... as well as the pictures out of the japanese texted directions.... however there are a few hoses that I need to hook up and I am lost....and I can't find english instructions at all.

First and Foremost the TPS sensor.

pics up

RB TPS

Q45 TPS

The stock harness does not adapt to the Q 45 TPS so I need to cut and hardwire it looks like. Anyone done this before?

Next I have a few hoses that I can not figure out where they go....

I know coolant lines pass through the throttle body, but anyone with experience who can chime in that would be great!

Thanks

Eric

Most guys running Q45 maf sensors do not run coolant through the TB. I would just block off the two coolant lines that ran to and from the stocker.

And you can block off the PCV valve hose from the valve cover as long as you run a breather filter off the other side or plumb it back into the intake pipe.

RB tps bolts right up to it, no issues there. Um, the coolant lines I just cut mine off.... And removed the plunger, its for cold start on the q45, we don't have that..

Make sure to block the vac nipples if your not using them. After 30 min of searching for a boost leak, found I had an open nipple on my TB.. ha.

oh yeah, coolant bleeder. I just blocked that off and deleted it....

thanks for the replies... how do you bleed your coolant without it? Also, what do I do with the main line coming out of the back of the intake mani from the 2 sensors that are boled down there?

remove your rad cap and jack the front of the car up is the only way to get ALL of the air out.

You need the Q45 tps or an Series 1 rb25 tps. Check here to use the Q45 tps http://forums.racebread.com/index.php?topic=814.0

The Line coming from the back of the manifold needs to the cold pipe for idle air.

also a question about the same setup....

where do you put the stock turbo coolant return line that used to mount to the stock intake manifold? (The turbo coolant line that runs behind the head)

There are no provisions for it, and I don't believe greddy added any metal tee's to the install kit.

I guess they thought most people who bought it would upgrade to an oil only cooled turbo.

I made my own T and tapped into coolant coming off one of the heater hoses...but, it only seems to work when I have the heater on. sucks. i found another place below the manifold which i had previously blocked off when installing the greddy manifold. im gonna try this one out and close up the heater hose again.
