RB25DET gearbox info needed

hi all im new to this forum hope this is posted in the right place

iv got a conversion going on but

iv got a RB25DET skyline engine in it

the problem i have is the gearbox

dont know what one to get as need it to be rwd only

is there a gearbox what will do the job

Use a VG30DETT transmission with and RB25 bell housing. The guts are the same. In a pinch, the 240 gearset works. It is not strong enough to hold up to the RB's torque for long, but it fits in the RB20 case.

But if you don't have a transmission at all, you still need a bell housing, and a transmission, and might as well just find an RB 25 transmission.

i don't have a gearbox at mo


looking at a gearbox but has a transfer box on it

i through a transfer box was to make it 4 wheel drive

im after a gearbox what is a rear wheel drive only

as i cant have 4wd

I'm pretty sure you can use the bell housing from the transmission with the transfer case. but that is an AWD transmission and they can't just separate the transfer case. I still thin your bet option is the RB25 transmission.
