Hello guys, this has been brought up multiple times....Rb starts great cold, but when warm will not start back up....
Stock everything
other than fmic, exhaust, i have replaced coolant temp sensor nothing...
It does start to miss fire when warm slightly, timing is spot on... i suspect possibly a bad maf, o2,coilpack, ignitor (S1),fpr im stumped ... out of frustration i bought a Z but i miss driving my 240 so much... If you have any suggestions lemme know...And if theres any additional info i can give let me know

sounds like classic coilpack/ignitor failure if it only does it hot.

I've got to ask the obvious question, did this start after installing any new parts?

DA 240, no its always plagued me...Ive been working on this specific car now for 5 years.....and its been a nightmare. Ive had everything that could go wrong, go wrong from headgasket to pistons in the oil pan...Im at the point were i ordered a new long block and bolted up intake and exhaust and everything else and to my suprise its actually running.
So, im so close to driving it i can just taste it...But im having this small irritating problem...ill purchase some coilpacks cheapest ive found were on enjuku brand new for like 68$ a piece...i know spitfires is the way to go but honestly the stock packs should be fine for what i want out of this rb...illl keep you all updated as much as i can

Get the LS2 coil packs and wire them up. You don't need the ignitor with them.

+1 on the coil packs

You will likely want to go the LS coil route eventually, so if it doesn't turn out to be the solution to the current problem, you're not out money and effort.

U don't have to run a stand alone to run ls2 coils.. Ur stock ecu works just fine, that's what I'm running now.. Believe me it's super easy to wire them up n u thank ur self for doin it. My idle improve as well with the coils.. I believe u have to run a stand alone to get the full potential out of the coils.. But they work fine as is

Try this diagram on the coils, just match ur stock to the ls ones..
