Ok, I know my RB passes emissions with a cat no problem. Anyone here have a 25 and pass with a cat? If so what did it take you? This is probably one of the only things holding me back from the 25

Thanks,

JEFF

If it passes WITHOUT a catalytic converter(catalytic converters are designed to lower emissions) then it whould pass WITH a converter. This has to be one of the dumbest things I have read in a long time man. Did someone dare you to post this?

I think he has a rb20, and wants to upgrade to a 25.

Jon, your a flamer dood. I know you have much rep in this forum but man, please and re-read what I've posted. Yes swwifty is right, I do have a rb20det WITH a cat. I know what a cat does. I was wondering if anyone here has a RB25DET and has passed emissions. That's all man. No need to try to embarrass me. I dont know but from your post it seems like your the one on drugs.. My last sentence states I have an rb20, and emissions are holding me back for a rb25.

Where does this state what RB motor you have?

You state the open phrase "my RB" and then reference an RB25. That the hell am I supposed to think?

The ONLY RB motor you reference specifically is the RB25!

And judging by your screen name I should assume you dont even HAVE an RB since you reference the mini RB, the CA18 there.

Explain yourself in detail before getting pissed thatpeople don't understand you. I am sorry I didn't come over to your house, ask to borrow your keys, pop the hood on your car, verify WHAT RB motor you are running, come back home, and type a response to your post.

YOU screwed up by ONLY referencing the RB25 motor specifically, never the RB20, don't turn this error on me.

as for jon, he's not used to be talked back to, or it being pointed out that he's wrong/could have done something better... as a manager that knows it all, i can only assume why

I just realized you were 18, sorry for questioning your skills. I guess the fact that I have been working on cars for the same amount of time you have been alive means nothing... Good luck on the car, I won't bother you again.

all i can do is laugh at this whole post....jon's the man, things were said, my advise be very specific in future post that way everyone can understand what your wanting to know. good luck....and if your smart get your car registered in a state with no emissions haha....NY is great for older cars and PA in some areas has no emission laws....then you have nothing to worry about...keep in mind that some states check for emissions equipment
