When putting in the rb25det you use the rb25det eccs right? and then just use the pinout diagrams to wire everything else?

ok what about the wire harnesses. I have the wire diagrams, but if I am going to use the Rb gauge cluster will I need to change any other harnesses? And why dont you use all the rb harnesses in the engine??? Any help is much appreciated, or you can shoot me an email at [email protected]. THANKS

What I am using is the KA lower harness, RB engine harness and s14 dash harness, to use the RB gauge cluster and dash harness you have to remove the dash and that was not the route I wanted to use. I recommend going the same way I am, but it is an opinion.

But to answer your question, yes you will have to modify the engine harness and also the lower harness (plugs into transmission sensors and power) if you go the route you spoke of.

I didnt use the RB gauge cluster well...because I didnt get one. If I did get one, I still would not have used it. Too much trouble for something that was worthless in my opinion. Too much stuff that I hate. Once you raise the boost, how do you read the stock gauge if it only goes to .7 BAR?? And not to mention the km/h thing?? Fitment?? Too much work for my taste. Just my .02 cents. Those were my reason for not trying to track down a cluster from venus

I was going to go with a rev speed meter for tack and speedo, but I was thinking about putting it in cuz it would look awesome and it could be functional. But I hear what you are saying.

Someone a while back was going to post pictures of the rb cluter in the s13 but i dont think they were ever posted. If anyone has pictures of how this cluster fits in could you please post them. thanks.
