Finally got the header started for this project. All 321SS using a double slip 6:1 merge collector. Will have pics of the header piping in a few days. Just ran the 1st pipe to mock the turbo position and will begin to run the remaining 5 tubes. This should be interesting when complete.BTW, do you like my new signature? Took the car to the track Friday night with my new powerglide transmission swap. Not bad for an old school Datsun with a 280zxt motor in it and drag radials! Track results below.

Run 160ft - 1.7721/8 - 7.051MPH - 106.281/4 - 10.75MPH - 133.8

Run 260ft - 1.8081/8 - 6.939MPH - 106.911/4 - 10.624MPH - 134.15

One more tube to run and then plumb the HKS GT(60mm) wastegate.

I bow down to your welding ability

That is one crazy setup. I spent all day welding and grinding, just to reconnect the flange to my dp.

I don't understand.....you are doing a manifold for this project...and still not done with it?...but you ran a 10.62 on it?....or are you talking about the 240z with the L6 twin turbo that you have?

I love where it places the turbo. Are you planning on making custom manis or is that your last one? It looks awesome!

Correct, that was my old school 240Z with the 280zxt motor in it(check my signature). The current car I am working on should run close to 140mph.

Don't want to reproduce them, as there are variables that can cause a manifold not to fit. I can do more, but I require the car to be with me. I have one more tube to go and have about 10hrs in the manifold thus far. However, two of those were spent milling the recesses in the flange so the tubes can set .150 into the flange before welding. This provides a stronger joint. The turbo will also be braced to the block to stop vibration and to take the load away from the tubes.

Correct, Big Kahuna turbo that I sell with p-trim .58. Setup should generate atleast 550hp@wheels on stock longblock(~20psi).

I ran the final tube last night. However, it was done at my buddies shop and when I did the fit on the car it is too close to the valve cover. No worries, chopped off the tube and rotated it away from the valve cover for clearance and I will rerun the short piece I cut out this weekend. Cut the front of the intake plenum to angle the TB correctly before I weld on the TB plate and finally mounted the intercooler permanently. Can now run the IC piping.

That just looks flat-out amazing! I wish you were closer and i would definitely nag you to build one for me! I noticed you removed the line that runs from the top of the valve covers to the intake. The one that hooks up to what i guess are for oil overflow. Does that affect anything bc i really dont like the thought of oil feeding into my intake.

you would need an oil catch can.

Not yet hooked up. It will run to a catch can that is plumbed to the inlet of the turbo. This will create a vacuum on the block under boost, but no allow the turbo to suck in oil. The catch can drains back into the block through a one way check valve(PCV).
