Is it 4000? or 3500? Maf is 3500 for safe mode/limp mode check maf wiring.

2500 is limp mode for rbs... which means the maf is not connected or not getting a reading..

Are you able to rev past 4000 while idling, and it just loses power around 4000 to 4500 under load.. if so, it is 100% your coils are dirty, or starting to fail which is a common problem.

Edit:If it 100% cuts out, like wont rev further, it may not be getting enough fuel and you are running lean - fix it ASAP!!!

2500 = MAF not connected / cant get a good reading.

Solutions: EitherA: Clean itB: Replace itC: Double check the wiring to make sure it is all connected and not corroded!
