When I get back from school I will be pulling my 25 apart and was wondering what people would prefer - Top or Bottom mount? I will be fabbing up a manifold that will be sent to a shop to have a casting made from. Fit will be gauranteed on an s13 with stock RB mounts. I will also take into consideration the motor placement with other mounts. Anyways I was just wondering what the interest would be from the RB crowd. Post some feedback with your thoughts on top or bottom. Ill be fabbing the prototype in the middle-end of the month, hopefully with a production piece in the next few months. Again just looking for your thoughts as it will be available to the public when fit and finish is figured out. I'm in no way affiliated with any shop, however a shop will be making these manifolds, obviously. If this violates any advertisement rules I appologize as thats not my intention, just trying to figure out what the majority would be interested in.

Top mount is nice for bling effect, but I think a bottom mount would be easier to deal with overall (closer to stock fitment).

I'm thinking top mount just becuase i would rather stare at a turbo than a wastegate, plus if rb owners wanted things easy they wouldnt have done one Still looking for peoples input though.

I vote top mount for ease of exhaust making and removal. (+bling fact0r of course)

Mine will be bottom mounted. I hate the way the turbo looks when it's sitting on the manifold. I guess I like to hide things since I live in the republic of california.

I was looking at going with the top mount so the turbo would be farther away from my steering components. and the bling factor of course. haha

is there even enough room for a t4 on a bottom mount?i thought the turbo sat pretty close to the strut tower as it was. not to mention the power steering lines as i mentioned before.

with the HKS underslung manifold bigger T4 comressor housing hit the engine, won't fit. Go top mount provided it will clear the hood.

Carl's GT30R compressor gets mighty close to the motor mount with the bottom mount HKS setup. Dunno if that helps, just thought I'd share.

bottom mount, comes damn near close to the xmember but it fits and keeps my hood from scortching.
