Well i installed my Ls2 coil packs which are sweet car does run much better than it ever has...
But now im faced with a new problem
Before i could set my timing to 15* if anything it was far more advanced and could never retard it...
Now its totally the opposite im fighting to advance the timing with the CAS Maxed all the out ...
I unhook Tps, try to set but just not quite at 15*... I believe this is why its spitting under boost just a little...If anyone is running ls2 coil packs what gap do you have you spark plugs at???
thanks

I had the same thing happen to me with the CAS adjustment when I swapped to LS2 coils. I'd just try to get it as close as you can to 15* despite the CAS being turned all the way one direction.

You shouldn't have to gap down your plugs for the new coils but I have mine gapped to like .024" or 0.6mm. I'm also running about 28psi of boost and E85 too, so you shouldn't have to go that extreme.

Can you notch the CAS slot at all? It shouldn't take much more to get to 15*.

p.s. your PM's aren't enabled ;)

Ill see what i can do this weekend, drove it...and she gets hot, real hot 225-250*... and i cannot go WOT for the life of it... i have to roll and only give in little over half throttle for it to go through the rpms...It feels really good just not up to par yet. all in all i love this car much much more than my Z or Civic any day OMG!!!

That is WAY hot! You have to get your cooling system straightened out or your engine won't be running for long :)

ya im sure i have an air bubble, well waited for it to warm up didnt take long... went to set timing and now the cas has to be almost center...last time i had it all the way to one end... im confused it was jumping from 15* to 20* for a moment is that normal ??? i just wanna be able to put insurance on it and enjoy for once in my life...im starting to think its too much to ask for.

But anyways timing is looking a lot better than a few nights ago.
Definatly gonna jack car up at a 45* turn heat on and flush coolant
Gone fishing tonight wish me luck, driving my civic i was hoping to drive my 240 but maybe next time
