I am new to the forum and the rb25 so I am at a point where I really need help. I have a 95 S14 with a 93 rb25det everything stock except 80mm TB, greddy intake manifold, and front mount inercooler and 255 walbro fuel pump. I did all the work myself but I can't seem to figure out the boost problem. When I give it gas its fine but when boost starts to build it leans out and starts surging I get blacck smoke so I assume too much fuel not enough air. I have checked for leaks and come up empty handed. I know with the provided info there is prob 100 possible solutions but just help me know where to start I can provide pics and more info if needed. Please help. Someone has to have done this swap.

There could be a bunch of things causing this. Maybe a coil pack is going out, maybe there is to much fuel, check for vacuum leaks, check your timing any of those could cause that problem.

I am going to change the plugs and coil packs and I will post the result as for fuel pressure its good. New pump, and filters. Any idea what the coil packs part numbers are?

Do you have a wideband on it? How do you know it is running lean or rich? Your statements are contradictory.

Its running great now I knew it was running rich because I was getting alot of black smoke which normally means too much fuel but the issue was accually the Turbo pressure regulator was stuck at low paid and was not opening for the Turbo to boost up. As a result the motor was getting more fuel but wasn't receiving the proper amount of air. But running good now
