RB25DET anyone using stock SMIC and piping?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

anyone here using stock SMIC and Stock IC piping? any luck or you got to go straight to FMIC and custom piping

I am took a couple hours to work out the kinks of the mounting of the IC but it fit very very well once i got it done.

depends on your car also. I was using the SMIC on my S13, but it was a pain to get it positioned correctly. I highly recommend going for the FMIC. It took me less time to install the Hybrid kit than the side mount.

how many type of IC piping and sizes and silicone reducers do you need is it 2.25" or 2.75" to 3.00" and how many 90 degree bends do you need or where is a good place to buy them at thanks - Joseph

Im using the stock side mount on my S13. Everything i used to connect it came stock on the front clip.

I was using the stock IC before, I was having hard time located to the side so I move the IC to the front. I use most of the stock pipe and some new 90 degree pipe, it works.

Now i'm using supraTT stock IC in the front.

stock IC + piping fits like a charm + mounting bracket worked fine too.
