Hi Guys,

I bought 6x 750cc Delphi Injectors #17113742...They dont fit my greddy-like intake manifold.

They dont fit the stock rail neither. What solutions do i got? Change them? Get a fuel rail that fits?( dont know where to look for these injectors fuel rail though)... And If i buy the top feed fuel rail for them, how do I fit them in the intake manifold side?(drill holes) Any suggestions that can solve this problem? I only need this to plug my ecu and im good to go...

plz help, Jorge

see if you can get your money back. delphi's won't work....you need denso style injectors for the rb's.

not trying to sound like an a**, but next time do a little digging before you just go spend money.

thx robbie, and its ok...I know what you mean... But for all my setup y did all my homework...

but i guess wasnt enough when it came to injectors. My fault also was that I had a dealer in Florida, (since I live in Panama and all parts must be ordered)P and he recommend me those injectors... he told me those delphis are been used in rb25det in Florida. I guess he wasnt right at all...

I talked to him and he told me to ship them back, and he will get a working replacement...

so denso style injectors? any in mind? and should i buy them with fuel rail? etc etc

by panama do you mean the country? or panama city, FL? i live close to panama city FL.

anyway, you have a couple different options. it really all depends on what you want and what you are willing to spend. you can stick with the stock fuel rail and get replacement side feed injectors and a nismo fuel pressure regulator. but these injectors are more expensive then standard top feed injectors. OR you can buy a new fuel rail and denso style top feed injectors and jsut about any brand fuel pressure regulator u like. the injectors cost less but then you have to get the fpr and the rail...so it kind of equals out. where it becomes cheaper is if you end up upgrading your injectors down the road to something larger.

these are the style injectors you need

if you have any other Q's let us know.

thx again 4 fast reply and interest.Panama (Central America)... Yeah I think Ill go with some side feed 740cc nismo or such.

This is the one I have...

Noob Question: They cant be used because they dont bolt on? or just wont work? If its because they dont bolt on, any mods I can do? Just wondering...

Im asking because in this forum:zer...18631 He goes from delphi 750cc to 1000cc, and its an rb... just an rb26dett I think.

thx,Jorge

you MIGHT...be able to get them to work playing around with some o-rings and such....but they'll never fit like stock....the denso's will fit right into the factory seals without any issues. it's a matter of ease vs complication

I have delphi 1000s in my car (rb26). However I had to do the following to make them fit:

1) Get the correct sized orings. I forget exactly what size they are, but I remember having to specially order them. I just measured my old o-rings and therefore they fit the stock rail and stock manifold.

2) I have a custom fuel rail (top feed). I don't know the manufacturer of the rail as it came on the car when I bought it... I just made it work.

3) I made some custom bushings to properly space the fuel rail from the manifold to ensure that the injectors were sealed against the manifold.

All in all, it's probably not worth it to try and make it work for your setup. You are better off just selling those injectors and getting standard rb25det side feed 750s that work.
