Yeah its going into a s13. I got it from Cardinal Prerformance in GA. It was 4673 with tax, though it does not come with a fmic or radiator. Though I got a big a$$ Spearco FMIC for it, it should be fun.

Up-Speed Garage in Goldsboro, NC has a container arriving *this week*, full of clips (RB25 and RB26) and misc. parts. Their number is 919-778-4318.

I just won an auction 40min ago for a rb20 transmission. It was 400shipped. If I knew you were selling the 25de transmission for 400 I would have got yours. I though you were selling it for 550. I know they are the same transmission internally, but I am sure the mout kit would would go better with th 25de transmission. I think a 20 transmission sits back more then the 25de. 400$, Damit! do you know if the 25det and the 25de are the same length, Drive shaft wise. I could probably sell my rb20 transmission to my friend and still buy yours. Damn I wish I knew you were selling it for 400.

hey i know the guy who sold it to you on the auction. he's a good buddy of mine. News flash......the rb20det and the rb25de are the same transmission. i posted about the transmission a while ago and told you to email me. what happened? either way we both have a few of those trannys left and can sell them all for $450 shipped all day long. anyone else?? email me [email protected]

i had one up on ebay a few weeks ago for $450 BIN and there was all kinds of watchers and no buyers. i think its a pretty good deal.

CAN YOU REALLY DO THAT ? ? ? If you can. I have the gtr trans and can get a 300zx. I have combined Ka transmission to Srt bell housing. Is it the same way with the gtr to 300tt, or is it more involving?-Thanks, Snail

They have the same part #'s on the internals (from whats been posted) and the bellhousing is a direct bolt on. You will of course have some shifter/trans mount mods to deal with, but I know of one guy for sure using this exact discribed set up in his RB26 powered Z car. His name is Russ, who used to be a partner at Electramotive, who makes the TEC2 & 3.

Here is his Z32TT/RB26 bellhousing trans he will be installing into his Z (2nd person I know thats done this)

I have my gtr transmission on ebay right now, so if no one buys it, I will probably give it a shot. If some one does buy it, I will see how long my rb20 transmission holds before it craps out, and if it craps out, My friend will sell me his t56 for 700, and he also owns a custom fabrication shop, so he would be making the adapter plate, and I will have to get my clutch guy to custom make me a rb26 clutch with 26 splines. And then I will have to have the drive shaft shortend. It would cost about 1100 total, but I dont have that money now so I will rely on the rb20 trans to last me atleast a couple of months. And if no one bid's on the gtr transmission, I would first use the rb26/vg30 combo. and save myself 600$ since I am only going for 5-600hp.

can a person not just use everything off the GTR trans (slave/clutch wise)

why would that part of the swap change?

The Z32 trans has a flooating shifter that must be modified and relocated to fit the 240sx...........Most of the internals are the same. but not the out put shaft and shifting parts and rear case...
