RB25DE To Turbo

Hey. Is a NA RB25 the same block as a DET? If not, how reliable are they under boost, fairly easy to boost? If going on a Skyline, can I use a RB25DET ECU? Thanks!

yes; same block, but different internals. it has 10:1 CRlook for some one that sells the stock rb25det pistons or get yourself a set of aftermarket pistons for long lasting boost.

Ok thanks, and a DET ECU would work? Plug and play? Or can the stock RB20DE ECU handle small boost?

your options:

1) you can use the rb25de harness and ecu2) or the rb20det harness and ecu 3)wire in a standalone.

all of the above options require proper tuning for boost.
