Hey whats upI'm in FT lauderdale.

I have no idea of anyone who imports Non Turbo Rb's. I really doubt anyone does.

Why do you want a non-turbo???

If you wanted to do a sick NA RB setup, your best bet would be to get a blown motor and rebuild.

A lot of importers will get one for you if your willing to wait. The only thing is that most of them know it is a piece in building a rb30det and jack the price up.

I want a n/a inline 6. I do not want a turbo motor plus n/a has better throttle response. And I have always wanted one since I say one on best motoring.

A stock RB with a Turbo has just as good throttle response as an n/a does with more power.

An RB without a turbo is like a dog without legs.

You'll make more power per dollar on a turbo setup than an n/a build with a motor like that.

+1

Your thinking on a turbo killing throttle response is

Best route is turbo if for performance reasons!

I do not want a turboed motor, less stuff to worry about. And I am not looking to make high amounts of power.

I don't fully understand WHY you would go thru all the trouble and expense of an RB swap for a non-turbo motor. It only has 0.1L more displacement than the KA. If you seriously want an inline 6 non-turbo motor, put in a 7MGE out of a non-turbo supra or cressida. You can probably find one for dirt cheap and they ran FOREVER if the head bolts were retorqued.

If you want a good 6cyl motor NA.Go for a VQ!!!!!

A VQ will pooop all over a NA RB.

Thats a nice looking motor, but how much power does it really make.

How much are you planning to spend on this whole swap???

Cause you need a mount kit, at least $300.Then the actual motor set probably like $2000Maybe a Dshaft, but I think the non-turbo RB25's have the same trannys as the RB20 so if thats the case no.The pain in the @ss wiring, or if your gonna have someone wire it for you $250.

And then you have a heavier motor that makes what... 15-20 HP more than your Stock KA.

Plus changing the water and oil pumps, timing belt and tensior, clutch kit.So about another $600.00 roughly.Maybe a crank collar too.

Also the chance of getting a bad motor.Yes, you get a 30 day warranty, but how many people swap RB's in 30 days???????????

All of that is just a stock swap. What about Cams those are pretty expensive, Greddy manifold is what about $600???

And where in the world are you gonna get a nice flowing header for a NA RB???I've never ever seen one, so thats gonna be custom.... About $700-$1000

Total - about $3200 without crank collar or performance mods.....

Not trying to scare you away, but to me doesnt make sense.I'd love to see a NA RB with ITB's on it, I'm sure it'd sound sexy as hell.

Best way I would think is to find a car thats swapped already with a blown motor.Yank the motor rebuild high compression, with ITB's. Then you can sell the turbo and manifold and have your own custom header made. Then you'll know you have a good motor and its already built.

I don't think he shouldn't do it.Cause a NA RB with ITB's would be sick as shyt.

But its not cost effective HP/$If you really want to get the most HP/$ then it would be like a LS1 with a $150 N2O kit......

I've never heard or seen one.But.... If a VW 2.0 16v sounds sweet with ITBS.Then a RB25 Neo head with ITB's and a nice set of cams has gotta make you wet you panties.....

I would guess it to have about 250-60hp.

Check out the vid 12th post downhttp://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upl....html

There's also a vid of a KPGC-10 with a N/A RB20 with side drafts on it.SICK SICK SICK.

My rb20det has power on tap... I touch the throttle and it GOES!!!

Turbo does not kill the throttle response at all...
