hi, i hope somebody has seen this problem before....
as it turns over it just hits on a few cylinders then dies...
if you continue turning over it wont hit againg but if you let of then turn over again it hits on few and dies...

i pulled cas out and spun it and injectors are clicking

have fuel pressure gauge hooked up and theres pressure there.

one thing weird is that it wont turn over with key ive been jumping starter....

its a 94 vert that i converted from auto to manual so it may have something to do with that...

another thing is that the fuel pump doesn't come on with key i just ground signal wire at fuse box interface to turn on

but what common thing controls both the fuel pump and the starter because i think the problems lies there but i've looked and not found anything

i done the auto wiring and the top works and when i jump inhibitor switch i hear the relay click..is there something that i may have missed

any help or suggestions will help...and if anyone needs further info or pics just ask.....ready to drive this thing

when i pulled stock motor out it cranked and drove...so this isn't a pre-existing problem

if you spray ether in tb the car will stay running...it's like it cuts off injectors or something

Check your ignition wiring. It sounds like the key switch is not connecting power to the IGN relay which powers the coils. When you turn the key to ON, the relay should close and you should hear it click.

Ok...checked the two relays near ecu and they power up fine when ign turned on....
when you turn to start the start signal goes all the way to the ecu but nothing out
and nothing out of ecu for fuel pump either..
checked all ecu powers and grounds all good
i think its something to do with auto conversion ...the inhibitor switch..(tan/w...and black) has no voltage on it..should it
i would think that it needs voltage on tan wire to complete circuit....but nothing ...
does anyone have the shift lock box diagram

fuel lines on backwards? sounds like fuel pressure almost building up as it runs on by the wrong way....done this a million times

Also, do you have the grey wire to the injectors to a constant 12v or switched only on start? That would cause a pump to prime and kill after the crank up.

finally got some time to work on it again. got my buddy to print off everything he could off mitchel on the inhibitor switch and front body wiring.
turns out the write-up i used which is a sticky here i beleive..says that the inhibitor switch plug is the one with tan/white wire and black..but the schematics i got
said that it was the plug with black/yellow and black/white...jumped it and it fired up...still have issues though fuel pump still not coming on with switch but haven't even began looking at it yet.
